Family Owned & Operated
President/Owner
Mary has over 20 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. She began her career in travel as a receptionist at a travel agency. Given her life experiences, as well as previous career as an Executive Assistant at a major supermarket chain in New Jersey, it’s no surprise that she quickly earned the title of Manager at the travel agency. Through all her experiences in life, she has found what’s most important is her family. Her passion and devotion to them, as well as her employees, is displayed through her success with the company.
“Customer Service and Safety are the cornerstone of Louisiana Motor Coach, Inc. Our business runs on relationships. The care in how we treat our clients is what has helped us become an industry leader.”
Vice President, General Manager
Louis’ career began in something completely different than the motor coach industry. Growing up, he spent many years in the grocery business. From a cashier, to a stock clerk, to a journeyman butcher, to department manager; working for a major chain in the Northeast gave him a solid foundation on which to build his future career in the motor coach industry.
He transplanted his family from New Jersey to New Orleans in 1994 to begin working for his father’s company. After spending 16 years in the industry, in 2010, Louis, Mary, and their son, Jeffrey, decided to branch out on their own and open Louisiana Motor Coach, Inc. Since then, the company has grown from two to 29 coaches of varying sizes. Louis feels it is because of the hard work and dedication of the entire family that they are able constantly move forward together as a unified front.
“We have a saying in the charter business, ‘Our business runs on relationships.’ It’s because of our faith in God, family, and friends that we are successful.”
Vice President, Sales & Operations
Aside from being the VP of Sales and Operations, Jeffrey is also one of the principals of the company. His career in the motor coach industry began in 2001 as a bus washer and shop helper at his grandfather’s company. As the years progressed, so did his skill set. He acquired his CDL while working in the office part-time and eventually took over dispatching, where his talent for sales and operations was discovered.
“I learned from one of the best,” he exclaims in referencing his father, Louis Sanders. “I have learned this business from the ground up. It really is impressive to listen to how he goes about selling our product and our brand.”
Certainly a devoted family man, he enjoys spending time with his family and entertaining friends. Though he is married with two children, he still finds the time to balance work and home life, despite such a demanding schedule.
Director of Operations
Ryan is the son of Mary and Louis Sanders and has been involved in the motor coach industry from a very young age. Beginning as a bus detailer, his ambition and experience elevated him to Lead Driver very quickly. Ryan now holds the position as Director of Operations due to his extensive in-house knowledge and experience driving. He is an excellent source of information due to having visited most major cities from New Orleans to St. Paul to Pittsburgh. What makes him such an asset is his passion for his family, his willingness to go above and beyond for the drivers, and, above all, his ceaseless work for all customers.
Director of Maintenance
Keith began his career in the motor coach industry in 1987 and joined the team in February of 2012. However, before his career in the motor coach industry, he worked for NASA as an electrical systems analyzer on a space shuttle external fuel tank at the Michoud Assembly Facility. After working with NASA for almost five years, he decided a change was needed and began working for a local bus company as a bus washer. Within the first year, he went from bus washer to mechanic and then supervising the maintenance shop on the evening shift.
“As soon as Keith joined us, it was clear he would fit in very well with the whole Louisiana Motor Coach team because of his belief that customer service and safety are always the top priority,” Louis Sanders said.
Keith enjoys working in such a close family environment and, as a result, can be found easily by his constant smile.
Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable
As the daughter of Louis and Mary Sanders, Caitlin has grown up around the motor coach industry. Since the start of her career, Caitlin’s duties have been primarily as Executive Assistant and bookkeeper. Her love for family and friends shows in the way she greets and speaks to every client. Caitlin loves working for her family and, above all, is a vital part of Louisiana Motor Coach. Even though Caitlin handles all the accounts of the business, along with a multitude of other duties, that doesn’t keep her from spending lots of quality time with her husband and son.
“It is truly a family owned and operated business that is passionate about its employees and customers.”
Safety Manager
Troy began his career in transportation as a school bus operator at the age of 21 while attending college. He moved into the luxury transportation industry three years later as a chauffeur. After two years, Troy was promoted to manager of the largest limousine company in the south east region. His duties included hiring new chauffeurs, training on all aspects of the job, including client interaction, customer service, and safety. Troy then gained his Smith System Trainer Certification and moved to Operations Manager which led to his extensive knowledge of operations and safety in the transportation industry. As Louisiana Motor Coach’s newest employee, he hit the ground with both feet running and continues to show his invaluable knowledge of safety in the transportation industry.
Sales Manager
Misty was born and raised in southern Louisiana. She graduated from the University of Holy Cross with a B.S. in Elementary Education, but after spending ten years in elementary education she wanted a change. She began as our receptionist, but quickly showed her ability and willingness to learn about the industry and is now a part of our sales staff. Louisiana Motor Coach has given her the opportunity to learn and grow in unexpected ways. She says that the family owned company is such a pleasant and welcoming environment and couldn’t be more proud to be a part of such a wonderful company.
